Tournament Format
There will be 6 pack sets in use, in two groups of 3. Each group will be assigned to a tower.
Preliminaries
8 minute games
3 team format
Tower Lock(2 towers in use simutaneously)
2 second downtime
95 hit cap (to prevent rollover)
NO shot cap
Each team guaranteed 6 games
You will play each pack set once
You will not play a team twice(as long as there is 13 teams in attendance)
NAC style point system:
1st place - 3 points
2nd place - 2 points
3rd place - 1 point if within 250 points of 2nd place
Advancement
The top 9 ranked teams after the preliminaries advance to the playoff round. Advancement is based upon the following criteria
and in the following order:

Total Score
In the unlikely event of a tie after the said criteria, the following rules will be enforced:
The higher ranked team in the preliminary game including the 2 teams
or if the teams didn't play each other
The preliminary schedule difficulty determined by using the rankings of other teams, treating the two teams in question as being tied. The team with the harder schedule difficulty will be ranked higher.
Playoffs
3 Team Format

The pack sets in use for each playoff will be chosen by the teams involved, with choice of the red set going to highest seed, green set to the second highest, mixed to the third highest.
The playoffs will be tower lock, but only one game will be going on at once. The tower used will be voted upon by the all the playoff teams.
Triple Quest Format - There will be 3 playoff sets. Each set will play 3 games, having each team playing every pack set.
The team rank for each set will be determined by their total score over the 3 games.
Ranks in each set will advance as follows:
1st place advances to Championship
2nd place advances to Consolation
3rd place is eliminated from the tournament
The Playoff sets are based upon preliminary ranks, and are as follows:
1st, 6th, & 7th place
2nd, 5th, & 8th place
3rd, 4th, & 9th place
The pack set rotation is also based upon preliminary rank, where the highest ranked team in each set will play the red set(chosen by highest seed) first,
the green set(chosen by 2nd highest seed) second, and the mixed set(chosen by 3rd highest seed) last. The 2nd highest ranked team in each set will start with green, then play mixed, and ending with red.
The lowest ranked team in each set will start with the mixed pack set, followed by the red set, and ending with the green set.

Championship & Consolation
3 Team Format

The pack sets in use for the championship and consolation will be chosen by the teams involved, with first choice going to highest seed, and proceeding downward.
The rounds will be tower lock with both rounds playing simultaneously. The tower used for the championship will be voted on by the 3 teams involved, and the other tower will be used for the consolation.

Pack Rotation is based upon playoff set placement, and is as follows:
Championship:
Winner of 1st, 6th, & 7th set starts with Red
Winner of 2nd, 5th, & 8th set starts with Green
Winner of 3rd, 4th, & 9th set starts with Mixed
Consolation:
Runner-Up of 1st, 6th, & 7th set starts with Red
Runner-Up of 2nd, 5th, & 8th set starts with Green
Runner-Up of 3rd, 4th, & 9th set starts with Mixed
Rank is again based upon total score after the 3 games.
Rules
Standard NAC Rules will be enforced during the tournament with the following emphasis:
No cupping - Hand may butt up to, but not cover any part of the orange ring.
Fluid motion - Fluid motion must be maintained at all times, unless of course you aren't covering any targets.
Cancellation - You may not cancel yourself, or any of your teammates by any method including off of a mirror(aka mirror spocking).
